United Iraqi Gypsum Company Limited LLC, Almalj brand (registered trademark) was established in January 1979 to be one of the first effective pillars in the field of construction and building in our beloved country. It is the first company to manufacture gypsum (borek) with advanced capabilities and its derivatives in beloved Iraq. It was and still is the pioneer in this field. The factory was established according to the latest technical and environmental specifications in the world to meet the increasing demand for gypsum (borek), which is produced according to the highest quality standards. The indirect burning method of gypsum is one of the modern and complex methods that require high technology, in which gypsum is burned without coming into contact with fire, thus preventing the combustion products from polluting the product on the one hand, and on the other hand, and most importantly, the product is more suitable for human health to satisfy the consumer.
